In partnership with Chaga Dawgs, we created this blend of ground Colombian coffee and chaga mushrooms harvested from forests around southern Vermont. Chaga adds health benefits (beta glucans, for example) and complimentary earthy, vanilla notes to the nutty, sweet goodness of the coffee.
French press is highly recommended as a brewing method. In fact, we grind the blend for it specifically so that enough of the chaga itself is retained in the brewed cup. Steep 6-10 minutes to maximize chaga extraction and minimize coffee overextraction.
